The Nehru Fellowship for Youth is a powerful platform for young Indians — students, people with grassroot experience, youth leaders — to step into the heart of Indian politics and learn what it truly takes to fight for justice, democracy, and equality.
Rooted in the values of the Indian National Congress and the Constitution, the fellowship gives you first-hand exposure to election campaigns, political strategy, policy research, and communications — while staying grounded in the mission to uplift the voices of the marginalised.

Eligibility
- Are an Indian citizen with a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Are actively engaged in youth, student, or social movements.
- Have a strong commitment to social justice and constitutional values.
- Are adaptable, driven, and ready to take full ownership of your work.

Selection Process
We're looking for committed, curious, and driven individuals ready to work on the ground and uphold constitutional values. The process is designed to be rigorous, yet accessible:
1. Online Application
Submit your educational background, relevant experience, and a short statement of purpose that reflects your commitment to progressive values.
2. Application Review & Scrutiny
Our team will assess your intent, clarity of thought, grassroots experience, and alignment with the values of the Indian National Congress.
3. Personal Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview to assess readiness for field work, political understanding, and commitment to the Fellowship values.
Remuneration
We believe in recognizing your time, talent, and commitment. Based on your experience and role, selected candidates will be offered the following positions:
Junior Fellow
0–1 year experience
₹25,000/month
Fellow
1–4 years experience
₹35,000/month
Senior Fellow
4+ years experience
₹50,000/month
